@BChung:

All I have to do is open a history book? Which book, pray? One of the ones written by your Red Gods? Certainly, you can not be referring to any of the books written by the oppressed peoples of East Turkestan.

I always find it interesting how Chinese who have been subjected to a 'Patriotic Education' always complain that the text books of other countries distort history - it's ironic and it's hypocritical, and it's disingenuous to say the very least. Don't forget, Mr BChung, I've seen some of the text books here in China, and they are a laughable disgrace.

Re: Mongolia, even you admit that the country was independant at the time of its invasion by the Red Army. The defence rests, yer honour.

Finally, I'm glad to note that you, too, recognise that the CCP is an illegal organisation that overthrew by force China's legally elected government in 1949. Being the world's largest criminal organisation with the world's largest private army (the PLA), does not make for legitamacy, even if you do impose your own 'constitution' (which even the CCP fails to abide by)...

bravo to a bunch of bull crap.... actually there really is no reason to continue reading as you claim that Xinjiang is only name Xinjiang or even became a part of CHina in 1948. ALl you have to do you just open a history book, and you will find that Xinjiang was a part of CHina and the name was also given during the Qing Dynasty. O yes my bad this is just no more than a Han Bashing post. So we should leave the Manchus out of this.

I also like the de facto independence of Tibet phrase. Yes even the choosing the current dalai lama require the blessing of the KMT when they still run China, what great independence.

I also like your brief selection of History, Mongolia did use to rule China during the Yuan Dynasty or the Mongol Dynasty, but what happen after the Mongol empire collapse? oo yes the China ruled it until the fall of the QIng Dynasty of 1911, where Mongolia declare independence with the support of the Soviets. Ahh yes to think of it Tibet did the same thing, claim independence with the support of the Brits. But i never recall the Chinese ever accepting their independence (and no its not CCP i am referring to its the KMT - for those who think that all started in 1949). The only reason Mongolia even got their independence was because the Chinese fail to recapture it and lost a war against Baron Ungern of Russia.

Basically why do you even bother writing this post? Here lets sum it up for you, China should not be bigger than the 7 warring states. Even the southern states like Guangdong (The last time i heard we are only 40% genetically related to Han and the 60% related teh other south east asians) was conqured by the evil ChiComs in ehh..... hmmm ooo 1949.

Haha, You should pay me for using sentences what I told you.

Have you learned the Statistics any time? Do you know " Percent" and "possibility"?

In our human's world, there is no "absolute" stuff happened, not at all

I even need not to finished reading your 'article', --your money-making job

But I really want to give a suggestions: for your left happy life, pls don't only focus your eyes on one spot, and try to refuse the whole scene on the road

Yes, maybe it's your work you need to care about some specific groups life, but can you try to keep a calm, objective manner and report out not in your bad-mood? you know, reading should be a happy experience

Your artical were full of negative words, don't you think it's quite unfair for persons to read them?

on behalf of health, for you and for your readers, pls change

thx

BTW, this is my last commons at yr blog

Good luck, you biased man @%& 88

Yes, there are a large number of very interesting parallels between the atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza and the Occupied Territories, and the atrocities committed by China in the territories it has illegally occupied (for almost the same period of time).

Well spotted.

Great post.

A few addition:

The Chinese Communists had paid, forced, coerced millions of Hans to migrate to Tibet and other traditional regions of minorities, with the intention to assimilate the minorities, to make them loose their culture and religion.

Tibetan culture is very religious. Every family would have many boys to join the monastery. This practise was discouraged, and then forbidden. Since the monastery is also a place of schooling, this also disallow education for Tibetans in their own language.

Tibetan culture is spiritual, and not materialistic. All the economic development brought by Han migration to Tibet are seen as desecration of the land. This is particularly severe when the railway was completed. There is no co-incidence that the riots starts now, a few months after the completion of the railway.

"It’s insulting and it’s a lie, but the lie continues to be taught as part of China’s ‘Patriotic Education’."

How else can you describe "Patriotic Education" other than "lies".
